Yahaya Bello Has Stepped On Toes Within The Presidency And Is Plotting Against It. Tinubu Is Aware Of Everything, And He Will Be Held Accountable – SOURCE

Investigations have revealed that former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has drawn the ire of the presidency, leading to the opening of an anti-graft investigation into his alleged crimes. Sources claim that Bello attempted to seek intervention from President Bola Tinubu, but his efforts were unsuccessful as the president is reportedly interested in the case.

“Bello has stepped on toes within the presidency and is plotting against it,” a source stated. “President Tinubu is aware of everything, and Bello will be held accountable.”

Bello is accused of embezzling over ₦85 billion naira and has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after multiple failed attempts to arrest him. The latest incident occurred in Abuja, where the current governor of the state allegedly breached security to assist Bello’s escape.

Meanwhile, a coalition of Kogi youths known as the Network of Professional Kogi State Youths has demanded that Bello vacate the state government house, where he is reportedly hiding from the EFCC. The group condemned Bello’s disregard for the law and his resistance to arrest.

“We expected a former governor to respect the rule of law,” stated Comrade Abdulquadri Shuaibu, spokesperson for the youth coalition. “Bello’s conduct is an embarrassment to Kogi and Nigeria.”

The coalition has issued a 24-hour ultimatum for Bello to surrender to the EFCC or face occupation of the government house. They also called for the resignation of current Governor Usman Adodo, who is accused of aiding Bello’s evasion of arrest.

“Governor Adodo has shielded an alleged criminal,” Shuaibu said. “His immediate resignation is imperative, or we will initiate impeachment proceedings.”

The youth group praised the efforts of the EFCC, the Attorney General of the Federation, and President Bola Tinubu in pursuing corruption charges. They also urged the Inspector General of Police to ensure Bello’s arrest and prosecution. CONTINUE READING
