A UK-based Nigerian woman, Titi Bamgbelu, has taken to Twitter to express her shock and disappointment over her friend’s reaction to a N10,000 gift she sent her.
After sending the money, Bamgbelu expected at least a simple acknowledgment from her friend. However, to her dismay, she received no response.
Adding insult to injury, the friend later posted a passive-aggressive status on WhatsApp, seemingly mocking Bamgbelu for sending such a small amount from abroad.
Enraged by this ungrateful behavior, Bamgbelu shared her experience on Twitter, stating: “Sent someone 10k this morning after two hours or there about… this person updated her WhatsApp status with ‘All these UK people and 10k sha’.”
Bamgbelu’s tweet has sparked outrage among her followers, who have condemned her friend’s ingratitude. The incident has also left Bamgbelu feeling disheartened and more hesitant to help others in the future. CONTINUE READING
