Rivers State Commissioner for Education, Professor Prince Chinedu Mmom has resigned as a member of the State Executive Council.
TheNGblog sighted the resignation letter dated May 15, 2024.
He is a known loyalist of former governor Nyesom Wike.
Professor Mmom referenced a “toxic” working environment as his reason for resignation, stating that such an environment would make it impossible to achieve “my set targets for the Education sector in the State.”
The former Commissioner, however, thanked Governor Siminalayi Fubara for the opportunity to serve in his administration and wished him well.
