Vera Anyim, whose church incident sparked viral fame, has returned to Abuja and is appealing for assistance with housing.
After the controversy at her church, Vera received an offer from a Port Harcourt hotel owner for an ambassadorship, a week’s luxurious stay, and an expensive phone. However, upon her return to Abuja, she took to social media to express her urgent need for secure accommodation.
Vera expressed gratitude for her safe journey and acknowledged the whirlwind that made her an unexpected celebrity. She admitted that she was unprepared for the public attention and feels overwhelmed.
She cited security concerns at her current residence and fears that her newfound fame may lead to assumptions about her wealth, potentially endangering her.
“Please assist me with accommodation, everybody already know I am a celebrity, I need a better place,” Vera pleaded.
In her own words, she said:
“I’m back to Abuja, I want to thank God for the successful journey… I want to say to Nigeria, you know this thing that happen is a things of joy, I never dream of it, it came this moment, i never dream of being a celebrity. It just came all of a sudden… I am not buoyant now to rent a house, where I am staying now is risky, insecurity, and is very open place… I am voicing out asking for assistance to unable me get a place I can stay so that my life can be safe.” CONTINUE READING
