Reno Omokri, a former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has disclosed that Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 elections, sought to appease him through the son of a former Vice President.
Omokri has been a vocal critic of Obi, frequently scrutinizing his actions and statements as the former Governor of Anambra State.
The attacks went so bad to the extent that he resorted to name calling and using unprintable words on Obi which made many Nigerians wonder why the attacks and began to ask questions.
However, the former presidential aide who describes himself as a Table Shaker, gave hints on why he picks on Obi at every opportunity.
While responding to an inquisitive X user, who wanted to know the cause of the fight, Omokri hinted that Obi’s supporters had threatened to kill him and his one-year-old child and as such, if the LP chieftain does not apologise to him publicly, he will not let go.
“The day Peter Obi apologises publicly (not privately) for what his supporters did to my then one-year-old daughter, on my word, I will leave him alone. Till then, aluta continua!”, he wrote on his verified X handle.
In another tweet, he posted:
“He asked the son of a former vice President to beg me. My response to the young man was, ‘Tell Peter to call me himself’.
“First to do, no dey pain! When they were threatening to kill my child and physically coming to my house until the police gave me a home guard, did he beg? He will continue to shalaye!
#TableShaker.” CONTINUE READING
