“Nigeria Is 109 Out Of 125 Countries Labelled As The Hungriest Countries” – Peter Obi

Former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has highlighted the stark contrast between Nigeria’s vast uncultivated land and its alarming hunger crisis.

In a documentary produced by WHY NOT AFRIKA, Obi revealed that Nigeria ranks 109th out of 125 countries on the Global Hunger Index, indicating a severe hunger problem. He noted that even Egypt, a country smaller in size than Nigeria, is ranked 58th.

“It is a paradox that we have the most uncultivated land yet we are one of the hungriest countries in the world,” Obi said.

“We have the most uncultivated land yet, Nigeria is 109 out of 125 countries labelled as the hungriest countries. We have the highest vast uncultivated land in the world. Other countries that have similar trajectories are far below even in Africa. Morocco is no 42 on the list. Egypt is 58 and we are 109″.
