The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, have reached an out-of-court settlement in the case involving allegations of naira abuse.
Previously, the EFCC had charged Cubana Chief Priest with violating currency handling regulations after a video of him allegedly spraying naira notes at a party went viral. He was subsequently granted bail in the sum of ₦10 million.
Under the terms of the out-of-court settlement, the specific details of which have not been disclosed, the charges against Cubana Chief Priest have been dropped. This settlement brings an end to the legal proceedings in this matter. CONTINUE READING
