Meet Abdulmunaf Yunusa Sarina Who Has 6 Air Planes, 2 Boeing 747, Over 200 Trucks

Abdulmunaf Yunusa Sarina, born on January 7, 1958 in Sarina Town, Kano State, embarked on a business path after completing primary education. Unlike his siblings who pursued academia, Sarina ventured into small-scale trading and later joined the family transport business, Sani Brothers Transport Nigeria Limited.

In 1990, Sarina expanded into the oil and gas sector with a station in Tamburawa, Kano State. His business acumen led to the establishment of Azman Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited in 2007, with over 55 stations nationwide. He also acquired a tank farm in Calabar with substantial storage capacity.

Sarina’s ambition extended to aviation with the founding of Azman Air Services Limited in 2010. The airline, owned entirely by him, commenced operations in 2014 and has since expanded its fleet, including Nigeria’s first Airbus A340-600 for long-haul flights and humanitarian missions.

Recognizing the importance of agriculture, Sarina established Azman Fertilizer & Agro Allied Ltd. and Azman Rice Mills and Farm Limited in 2015, focusing on rice cultivation and milling.

His commitment to education culminated in the creation of Azman University in Kano, a technologically advanced institution that received its provisional license in 2023.

Alhaji Dr. Abdulmunaf Yunusa Sarina is a highly respected businessman, known for his achievements and philanthropy. He holds two honorary doctorates in Business Administration from Gregory University (2019) and ESCAE University (2023). CONTINUE READING
