A somber tragedy has befallen the Ghanaian community with the untimely passing of Yaw, a young man who succumbed to the depths of despair after the dissolution of his relationship with Gifty.
Reports indicate that Yaw and Gifty had been in a relationship for nearly six years, marked by Yaw’s alleged mistreatment and physical abuse towards Gifty.
Overwhelmed by the prolonged mistreatment, Gifty made the difficult decision to end the relationship and start anew in Kumasi, where she found solace in a new partner.
Upon discovering Gifty’s plans to marry someone else, Yaw’s initial suicide attempt by consuming DDT was thwarted, yet he tragically chose to end his life by hanging himself from a tree.
