IPOB Mourns the Passing of Igbo Elder, Chukwuemeka Ezeife

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of former Anambra State Governor, Chief Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife.

In a statement, IPOB spokesman Emma Powerful hailed Ezeife as a significant contributor to the welfare and well-being of the Igbo nation since Nigeria’s independence.Ezeife, who passed away recently, will be laid to rest today in his hometown of Igboukwu, Anambra State.Powerful recalled Ezeife’s unwavering support for the Igbo cause and his advice to IPOB members to pursue their goal of Biafra restoration peacefully.”Dr. Ezeife was a true elder statesman who never shied away from speaking out for the rights of Ndigbo,” Powerful said. “He was a staunch supporter of the recent agitation for Biafra restoration and provided invaluable guidance to IPOB members.”IPOB extends its heartfelt condolences to Ezeife’s family and the entire Igbo community.”We have lost a father and a tireless advocate for our people,” Powerful remarked. “May his soul find eternal rest and may his legacy continue to inspire future generations of Igbo.”IPOB prayed for strength and fortitude for Ezeife’s family and the Igbo nation during this difficult time.”May God Almighty grant us the grace to honor his memory and continue his fight against the marginalization of Ndigbo,” Powerful concluded.
