Identity Of Slain Soldier In Aba By IPOB Revealed

Dannie expressed his profound grief and condemned the senseless killing, lamenting the creation of a “lineage of widows, a colony of orphans, and a cloud of terror.” He emphasized that the victimized soldiers were victims of leadership failures, just like the perpetrators.

According to Dannie, the slain soldiers were all Igbos, raising concerns about internal conflict within the Igbo community. He urged an end to the killing, stating that the rest of the country is progressing while Igbos engage in self-destruction.

Dannie shared his personal connection with Sergeant Ikpeamaze, who he had assisted in enlisting in the military. He recalled their conversations and prayers, and expressed his shock at the soldier’s untimely demise.

“The last I saw Sergt. Lucky was few months ago… I felt happy. I felt proud,” Dannie wrote. “But I never knew it was going to be our last encounter.”

Dannie concluded by pleading for an end to the violence, saying, “It is rather to hard and painful to say but I have other option than to say: ‘Fare thee well, Lucky.
