AN artist who refuses to shave says the men she dates love that she’s hairier than them.
Body hair activist Esther Calixte-Bea, 27, is known for her unique look and opposition to traditional beauty standards.
The social media personality, from Montreal, Canada, is better known as Queen Esie and is very outspoken about her chest hair.
She’s been forced to dump one of her flings for calling her “too hairy”.
But she insists that her body hair doesn’t impact her love life in the way many people may assume.
She told us: “I’m very lucky that I dated guys who didn’t care.
“I’ve always been hairier than all my partners. At first I was hiding it as a big secret and would only tell a guy once I felt comfortable.
“This guy said he didn’t care that I had chesthair, he liked me.
“And I’ve had men say it’s really beautiful and that it adds to me.”
Esther added: “One guy mentioned he wouldn’t date a girl hairier than me.
“You need to be aware of how people talk about your body and if that makes you uncomfortable, don’t stay with those people.
“I haven’t had any problems when it comes to men and the fact I’m very hairy.
“Find a man who likes you for you, yes they can find your body hair beautiful, but not in an obsessive way.
“There are lots of men out there who don’t care if you’re hairy so it’s important to be confident.”
Esther previously revealed that her body hair attracts attention in the street.
Strangers are stopped in their tracks, some start pointing and sniggering while others are more blatant in their staring at the artist, 26.
Insults calling Esther ‘disgusting’ and a ‘freak’ don’t make her flinch, refusing to let the vile taunts intimidate her into covering her body.
