As reported by the Punch, Primate Babatunde Ayodele, founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has candidly disclosed that he has never cast a vote in any election. He believes that no political candidate aligns with his values and principles.
Despite perceptions of his affiliation with Atiku Abubakar, Primate Ayodele maintains that he has never received support from the former presidential candidate. He emphasizes that he is independent of political allegiances and relies solely on God for sustenance.
Primate Ayodele prides himself on honesty and transparency, contrasting himself with other religious leaders who may retract their statements. He states that he has not voted because there is no candidate who meets his expectations.
He adds that if he were associated with Atiku, he would have benefited financially. However, given his lack of political affiliation, he has not received support for his church construction project.
He said, “I have never voted because I don’t have anybody to vote for. So if I were Atiku’s person, I would have enjoyed it. I was building a church worth billions of naira, and Atiku did not give me any money. At least if I belonged to his party he would have supported me. No politician has ever supported me, it’s only God. People just hate the truth, and when I said so I did not deny it. I don’t belong to those prophets who will deny what they said. If any prophet heals and wakes up people from the dead, then it means that nobody must die in their family again.” CONTINUE READING
