During his farewell ceremony at the Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, retired Commissioner of Police Aderemi Adeoye shared remarkable experiences from his career.
Adeoye revealed that he had faced numerous perilous situations, including encounters with Boko Haram terrorists, Niger Delta militants, and members of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB). Despite these dangerous encounters, he emerged unscathed.
“To the glory of God, with all the gunshots and bombs, I do not have a scar,” Adeoye said, attributing his survival to divine protection.
He also credited his success to his extensive experience in Anambra State, where he had served under seven previous Commissioners of Police for 10 years.
“I am grateful to Nigeria for giving me the opportunity to serve in various capacities,” Adeoye expressed. “The trainings I received have equipped me for retirement.” CONTINUE READING
