Graduate Tenders Apology For Writing “God Is Nothing Without Me” On His Facebook Post

According to TheNGblog, Msuega Terna Jnr, a recent graduate of Benue State University (BSU), has issued an apology for his controversial graduation celebration post that gained traction on Facebook.

Msuega, who was celebrating the completion of his university studies, posted photos of his graduation on the Facebook group “TIV SINGLES” along with a caption that contained several grammatical errors. His now-deleted post read, “Hello Tiv shingles, celebration with me. I am a graduation from BSU. “God is nothing without me.”

In a subsequent Facebook post on Sunday, Msuega clarified that his viral graduation post was not intended to disparage or criticize his alma mater, but rather to attract attention to himself. He stated that the use of incorrect grammar was deliberate.

“In the said publication, I deliberately used wrong sentence to create awareness of my signing out from the university, though it was deliberate, but with no intentions of hurting anyone, a group, community or Institution.”
