Governor Namadi’s Father-In-Law Is Dead

Jigawa State governor Umar Namadi has lost his father-in-law Alhaji Umar Adam at the age of 86.

Tragically, Umar passed away late Tuesday evening after a valiant battle with a prolonged illness. Yesterday morning, he was laid to rest in accordance with Islamic customs.

The Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Comrade Hamisu Muhammad Gumel, released a press statement in Dutse, the state capital, confirming Umar’s demise. Surviving Umar are his wife, Governor Namadi’s spouse, Mrs. Hadiza Umar Namadi, two additional wives, and an extraordinary 24 children.

In the absence of Governor Namadi, who is currently abroad on official business, Deputy Governor Engr. Aminu Usman led state government officials in paying their respects at the burial. CONTINUE READING
