Gallant Major AG Mohammed Killed By Terrorists Disguised As Bandits

Security expert and counterinsurgency specialist Mr. Zagazola Makama has confirmed the tragic demise of Major AG Mohammed on Friday. Major Mohammed, an esteemed officer of the 17th Brigade Katsina State under Operation Hadarin DAJI, lost his life in a confrontation with armed bandits.

“Major Mohammed paid the ultimate sacrifice while valiantly combating bandits in the North West of Katsina State,” Makama lamented. “He selflessly served as the commanding officer covering Yantumaki, Dan Ali, and Kankara Axis, earning recognition as one of the nation’s most exceptional officers.”

Makama expressed profound sorrow, stating that Nigeria has suffered countless losses of gallant officers and soldiers to the treacherous attacks of Boko Haram insurgents, banditry, and other security threats.

“We extend our deepest gratitude and respect to these heroes who have sacrificed their lives to protect our nation,” Makama said in a message posted on his social media account.

Major Mohammed’s untimely passing comes just days after the Nigerian Army lost two captains and four soldiers in a deadly ambush in Niger State. As of yet, no official statement has been released by military authorities regarding this tragic incident. CONTINUE READING
