FIFAWCQ:Finidi Invites Four New Players For South Africa, Benin Game

Super Eagles Head Coach Finidi George has invited four new players to join the squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Gabriel Osho of Luton Town, Caleb Okoli of Frozinone, Justin Njinmah of Werder Bremen, and Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo are the newly invites players.

Maduka Okoye, the goalkeeper for Udinese of Italy, is joining the Super Eagles again after more than a year, while Francis Uzoho has been left off of the Nigeria Football Federation’s (NFF) 25-man roster for the June World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic.

Victor Osimhen of Napoli, as anticipated, tops the list, which also includes Terem Moffi, Nathan Tella, Samuel Chukwueze and Victor Boniface of Bayer Leverkusen.

Alhassan Yusuf of Antwerp, Chuba Akpon, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, Frank Onyeka, Joe Aribo, and Onyedika of Club Brugge are among the players invited by Finidi.

Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina, Bright Osayi-Samuel, and Alex Akpoguma are the invited defenders.

Stanley Nwabali, who is smarting from his heroics at the last Africa Cup of Nations, is the starting custodian along with Okoye and Arthur Okonkwo, who is on loan from Arsenal. READ THE FULL ARTICLE
