Former All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Galadima Buba has denounced ex-Governor Nasir El-Rufai for tarnishing his reputation within the party. He cited El-Rufai’s actions as a contributing factor to his resignation from the APC.
In a video posted by Channels TV on YouTube, Buba asserted that El-Rufai and certain party members’ desire to monopolize the party by vilifying others led to his and others’ departure from the APC. He stated that El-Rufai had ignored warnings and was now facing the consequences of his behavior.
Buba alleged that El-Rufai had opposed the re-election of Senators Shehu Sani and Suleiman Hunkuyi due to their refusal to approve his loan request. He claimed that El-Rufai had supported Uba Sani’s senatorial bid and lobbied for him to chair the Senate Finance Committee in exchange for loan approval. However, Uba Sani, now Governor of Kaduna State, has turned against El-Rufai.
According to Buba, “El-Rufai will pay dearly because God does not wait for us to die; he is witnessing instant judgment. I gave the interview before the current events in Kaduna, but he has seen nothing yet.” CONTINUE READING
