A video has emerged on social media showing former Kogi State governorship aspirant Dino Melaye mocking ex-governor Yahaya Bello. The video surfaced after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) raided Bello’s Abuja residence on April 17, 2024.
In 2021, Melaye had filed a petition with the EFCC, accusing Bello’s administration of corruption, including contract irregularities, unauthorized borrowing, and procurement violations.
On April 17, 2024, an Abuja High Court authorized the EFCC to arrest Bello ahead of his arraignment on Thursday. However, a Kogi State High Court later dismissed the siege, stating that the EFCC lacked the authority to arrest the ex-governor.
Shortly after the EFCC’s presence at Bello’s residence, a video emerged on social media showing Melaye mocking Bello. CONTINUE READING
