BREAKING: Tension As Thugs Set PDP Chieftain’s House On Fire In Delta

Unidentified political thugs have attacked the residence of Azubuike Christian Uwechue, a PDP chieftain and former ward secretary in Delta State. The incident occurred in the Ogwashi-Uku area.

According to witnesses, the thugs invaded Uwechue’s home, jumping over the fence and causing extensive damage to windows and other valuables. They were armed with gasoline, foam, axes, Dane guns, cutlasses, and other weapons.

The thugs allegedly assaulted three individuals inside the house, including two young women. One of them stole a laptop and sneakers, while another filmed the incident.

Local vigilantes and neighbors intervened, preventing the thugs from burning down the entire residence. However, the thugs threatened to return and complete their arson if Uwechue continued to interfere in the affairs of the Peoples Democratic Party at the local and state levels.

Uwechue had reportedly clashed with party leaders over allegations of anti-party activities and accepting money from opposition party members.
