BREAKING: EFCC Raids Private School, Arrests Principal And Staff

On June 24, agents from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) raided Goodwill Private Schools Limited in Ikorodu, Lagos. The raid resulted in the arrest of the school’s principal, Olufemi-King Saidat, and staff member Collins Success Omodekah.

The raid sparked chaos among students and ignited widespread criticism. The school’s solicitor, Benson Enikuomehin, denounced the raid, stating that it was conducted without a warrant and without clear reasons for the arrests.

Enikuomehin highlighted previous interactions with the EFCC and demanded transparency from the agency. He called for the immediate release of those detained.

As of now, the EFCC has not issued an official statement regarding the incident. The absence of information has fueled concerns over the circumstances surrounding the raid and left unanswered questions about the agency’s motives.
