Ahead of the All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial primary election in Ondo State on Saturday, Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has been appointed to chair a 7-member committee that will conduct the party’s primary.
The appointment was announced through the official social media account of the APC national headquarters.
**Kogi Governor to Head 7-Member Committee**
“Kogi Governor, HE Ahmed Usman Ododo @OfficialOAU heads 7-member committee to conduct the APC Ondo State Guber Primary Election on Saturday to pick the Party’s flagbearer,” the APC stated.
**Former Bauchi Governor to Lead Appeal Committee**
Additionally, former Bauchi State Governor, Mohammed Abubakar, has been appointed to lead a 5-member Primary Election Appeal Committee for the party in Ondo State.
“Also, former Bauchi Governor, HE Mohammed Abubakar heads the 5-member Primary Election Appeal Committee,” the APC National Headquarters announced.
**16 Aspirants to Contest Primary**
A total of 16 aspirants are vying for the APC gubernatorial ticket in Ondo State.
