An Anambra Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA) official has been fatally shot in Awka, Anambra State. The incident occurred near a motor park on Thursday morning, April 17.
The victim, who was on duty at the time, approached a Toyota Sienna vehicle with tinted windows. As he attempted to stop the vehicle, occupants inside opened fire, killing him instantly. The assailants then fled the scene.
This shooting follows the murder of another individual by gunmen at Aroma junction on Wednesday evening, April 16. The recent spate of violence has heightened concerns about security in the area. CONTINUE READING
