On Monday, in response to the nationwide strike initiated by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC), members of the labour union descended upon the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) office in Lagos. This strike was sparked by the Federal Government’s proposal for a N60,000 minimum wage.
