The coveted Premier League trophy will be present at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium on Sunday, regardless of the result of tonight’s Tottenham Hotspur-Manchester City clash.
Manchester City, trailing Arsenal by one point with a game in hand, can only move two points ahead with a win. This sets up a thrilling finale to the season, with the title to be decided on the final matchday for only the 10th time.
To ensure a seamless celebration, the Premier League has prepared identical ceremonial trophies and 40 player medals for both the Etihad Stadium (Manchester City’s home) and the Emirates Stadium. Podiums and fireworks will also be in place at both venues.
However, the actual Premier League trophy will not be engraved until after the final match. The victorious team will receive the authentic trophy to commemorate their triumph.
