The Lagos State government, led by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has recently uncovered an illegal network of makeshift apartments beneath the Dolphin Estate Bridge in Ikoyi.

Number of Rooms: 86, partitioned into 10×10 and 12×10 dimensions
Rent: N250,000 per year, despite the substandard living conditions
Tenants: Pay rent to “Baales” (local chiefs) who collect the money
Illegal Activities: A container used for illicit activities was also found and removed by authorities
Enforcement Actions:
* The enforcement team of the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources has removed all containers.
