A recent video has captivated social media, showcasing former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke engaging in an impromptu dance battle at the lavish wedding ceremony of Oyindamola Okesanjo and Adegbola Adedeji.
The event, held at the Balmoral Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, attracted a galaxy of dignitaries, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. However, it was the dance-off between Obasanjo and Adeleke that stole the spotlight.
In the now-viral footage, Obasanjo, escorting the newlyweds to the stage, playfully summoned Adeleke, affectionately known as the “dancing governor,” to join him in a dance. “I will call on Governor Ademola Adeleke; you must dance up here. Dance up here!” Obasanjo exclaimed.
Adeleke, beaming with delight, promptly ascended the stage. Both Obasanjo and Adeleke, clad in vibrant purple agbada attire, swayed to the lively tunes of the live band, mesmerizing the audience.
The star-studded event also featured the presence of music legend Wasiu Ayinde Marshall (K1 De Ultimate), as well as Adeleke’s sons, singers B-Red and Sina Rambo. CONTINUE READING
