Akmed, a male goat, was forcibly removed from its home in Mt View – Verulam, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, after a violent rampage. The incident occurred on Friday, April 26, 2024, when Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) officers responded to a call from a resident reporting an attack by a goat.
Upon arrival, officers learned that Akmed had attacked a dog and several schoolchildren on their way to school. Despite repeated attempts to locate the owner, the goat was eventually apprehended and transported to the RUSA Headquarters.
In a subsequent update, RUSA announced that Akmed had been reunited with its owner. CONTINUE READING
