Amidst the ongoing power struggle within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), a northern group known as the Arewa PDP Transparency Group has declared their support for the leadership of former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
Just days before the crucial National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, the group rejected overtures from PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and expressed their belief in Wike’s ability to revitalize the party.
In a statement, the group’s National Chairman, Hon. Haruna Bature, emphasized the importance of effective leadership in guiding the party. He stated that Wike possesses the necessary qualities to address the PDP’s leadership crisis and restore its FORTUNES. CONTINUE READING
