Ondo State Deputy Governor, Dr. Olayide Adelami, has expressed his gratitude to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Owo for their overwhelming support for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in Saturday’s governorship primary election.
Speaking to reporters after casting his vote at his Igboroko 2 Ward 3 polling unit, Adelami praised the party members for their unwavering commitment to Aiyedatiwa’s candidacy.
“I was impressed by the large turnout of voters behind Governor Aiyedatiwa,” Adelami said in a statement signed by his spokesperson, John Paul Akinduro. “It demonstrates the strong support he enjoys not only in Owo but also throughout the state.”
Adelami commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and party officials for ensuring the peaceful conduct of the primary election.
“The process was transparent and well-organized,” he said. “It is a testament to the strength of our democracy and the commitment of all stakeholders to a free and fair election.” CONTINUE READING
