Reactions Emerge To Video Of Wike, Makinde Reuniting With Other G5 Governors

A video of Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory; Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde; and other members of the G5 group reuniting and dancing after a PDP National Executive Council (NEC) meeting has sparked reactions among Nigerians.

The G5, a group of five governors led by Wike and Makinde, had clashed with the PDP leadership over the alleged sidelining of the southern bloc. However, the group’s reunion comes after the failure to remove the PDP’s acting chairman, Umar Damagum.

Social media users have shared their thoughts on the video:

* @SpeshEmmy: “I pity Fubara and his supporters. They’re doomed.”
* @CrimeCrack: “Makinde is the only one among them who can win an election. The others are irrelevant.”
* Amazing Dray: “The rumor that Makinde left the group is false.”
* Mehdi: “PDP is finished.”
* @OyedemiBabs: “Wike is the leader in Rivers State, but he’s also the leader of the PDP in Abuja. Who will resolve the conflict now?”
