Nollywood star Zubby Michael has addressed criticism over his silence following the boat accident that claimed the life of his colleague, Junior Pope.
Amidst the tributes and condolences from the industry, Michael’s muted response raised questions about his relationship with the late actor. Actress Angela Okorie accused him of envy.
In a defiant social media post, Michael urged critics to “rest,” arguing that expressing grief is not confined to social media. “Make Una rest. No be by posting,” he wrote while sharing a video of himself shipping furniture.
Michael’s response sparked mixed reactions. Some supported his right to mourn privately, while others criticized his lack of public condolences.
