Nweke Said: Bello Believes He Has A Right To Kogi’s Resources, He Was Reckless In His Speech And His Conduct

Frank Nweke Jnr, a former Information Minister, has condemned the alleged reckless behavior of ex-Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello.

Reacting to the EFCC’s declaration of Bello as wanted for fraud and money laundering, Nweke stated that Bello’s actions demonstrated his unsuitability for public office.

“He behaved as if there were no consequences,” Nweke wrote. “He lacked responsibility and self-awareness. Public service held no value for him.”

Nweke accused Bello of treating Kogi residents as his personal property. “Kogi was his to do with as he pleased,” he said. “He only acknowledged his term limits when it ended.”

Nweke suggested that Bello’s decision to remain in Lugard House with his successor was motivated by a sense of entitlement. “He believes he has a right to Kogi’s resources,” Nweke said. CONTINUE READING
