Speed Darlington Cries Out: EFCC Wants to End My Career, People No Longer Sprays Me Money

Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has expressed frustration over the enforcement of legislation against naira misuse, claiming it has severely impacted his income.

In a recent concert, Darlington performed enthusiastically but was disappointed when he received no monetary “sprays” from his fans. Vendors selling cash at the event were ignored due to concerns about the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Darlington lamented that spraying money has been a significant source of his livelihood. He argued that it is a traditional way for men to display wealth and show off. Without it, he feels unable to express his affluence.

The singer also expressed concern for strippers who rely on sprayed money for income. He questioned how they will now support themselves and worried that they may turn to criminal activities such as kidnapping. CONTINUE READING
